I hired Jen to be my running coach for my fourth marathon in the summer of 2016 and we have been working together ever since. Not only has she helped me shave 38 minutes off my Marathon time, I was able to qualify for the Boston Marathon three years in a row. Each year getting progressively faster. She has helped me PR in my 5K and half marathon along with my best marathon times to date. She has taught me so many things when it comes to running. Cross training, nutrition, hydration, recovery and the mental aspect all play a part in achieving your goals. I would not be where I am today if it was not for her. If you are looking to be an all-around faster, stronger, more balanced runner I would highly recommend working with Jen to achieve all of this.

I have been working with Coach Jen for 5+ years. When I hired her as my personal coach, she designed a half marathon training program customized for me and my goals. The training program Jen created was much more challenging then I had been doing on my own - and it was exactly what I needed. I have finished 15 half marathons since working with Jen and I've gained a ton of confidence along the way. I've also set PR's and continue to become a better, smarter runner with her coaching. In early 2019, I started working with Jen as my run coach to help me with a training plan for Broad Street, a 10-mile run in Philadelphia.  I had tried on and off to get serious about running for over a year but found myself injured, frustrated and far from my goals. Early on she helped me prioritize my objectives and focus on a long-term plan to grow as a runner. Her own accomplishments and motivation constantly inspire me to work harder and train more. In the first year working with her, I met and exceeded every goal I had.  She helped me take substantial time off my short runs and she prepared me for my first ½ marathon.    

I continue to work with Jen as I train to improve speed and increase distance.  She has helped me formulate a plan that includes speed work, longer runs, strength training and rest days.  She is always available when I have questions or when I need guidance, and she checks in with me to make sure I am taking my rest days.  I was told in the beginning, “a healthy runner beats an injured runner every time.”  Working with her has been awesome and I would not be in the condition I am in today without her guidance and support.

I have worked with Jen for almost 8 years as an athlete and colleague and she is wonderful. She is skilled at coaching runners of all levels and someone I consulted with regularly when I ran my first marathon. She is knowledgeable on training programming as well as flexible at adapting it to each runner’s specific goals and level. She also recognizes the importance of strength training and uses her background as a personal trainer to help her clients incorporate this into their training plans.
